Louise Squire
BA PGCE QTS YMHFA

Louise Squire, BA PGCE QTS YMHFA, has worked in education for the last 18 years, most recently as Assistant Head (Safeguarding and Wellbeing).  Louise has planned and delivered RSHE curriculums to reflect latest Department of Education Statutory guidance and has experience of developing a whole school approach.

Teacher training, upskilling colleagues, cross-curricula links and parental engagement are all priorities for Louise. She has also been a team inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), and is currently the Designated Safeguarding Lead for It Happens Education.

Louise has worked across the prep and senior school sectors and through her pastoral work she has direct experience of how the teaching of informative and reflective RSHE impacts the safety and wellbeing of young people. Louise is an accredited consultant through the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) and believes that by providing young people with skills, knowledge and confidence they can be safe and happy as they grow and develop relationships through adolescence and beyond.

She continues to pursue her passion for wellbeing and mental health through continued study for an MSc in Mental Health and Wellbeing in Education (whilst also being brilliantly creative too).
