Parent Presentations

The ultimate goal of statutory RSHE is to create an environment where all adults work together in school and at home. This will create consistency and will improve conversations with young people about these important topics.

However, recent research, highlights that many parents feel out of their depth. It is vital schools offer their parent body consultation opportunities and support.

Parental consultation now form part of the statutory RSHE Guidance. We can help you consult your parent community and work with you to glean parent voice through pre-session surveys and interactive parent talks. We work with you to give families the tools and the confidence to carry on these conversations at home, using the correct terminology and with ideas on how to approach subjects in a safe and age-appropriate way. It’s all about lots of ‘little learning moments’ rather than one big talk!

If you are a boarding school please consider Parent presentations just before an exeat or school holiday so that conversations can be carried on at home.

“The role of parents in the development of their children’s understanding about relationships is vital. Parents are the first teachers of their children. They have the most significant influence in enabling their children to grow and mature and to form healthy relationships”
